DAE 75! During this year's Salone, Design Academy Eindhoven celebrates its 75th anniversary with a special edition of its annual graduation show. From 7-12 June, the Intergenerational Graduation Show, will showcase 7,5 decades of graduation projects by Design Academy alumni, highlighting the creativity which students and alumni have brought to the field.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My graduation work, an experimental collection of upholstery fabrics, is selected! The project was developed in collaboration with three textile manufacturers: Weverij De Ploeg in Bergeijk wove the fabric, Mommers in Tilburg roughed it and Leo Schellens in Eindhoven pressed a motif, which is a technique that is traditionally only applied to velvet.
