Trash & Treasures, located in Zaanse Schans, came up with the idea to ask Mariëtte Wolbert to design a tea towel. You will recognize the sawmill “de Poelenburg”, the stripes are reminiscent of the planks of the wooden houses and a row of typical buildings of the Zaanse Schans is incorporated into the colorful design of the tea towel. The tea towel combines classical Dutch motives with fresh modern ones and is a beautiful ode to the landscape of Zaanse Schans.
