The advice from the Ministry of Health to use a clean tea towel/dishcloth every day inspired Mariëtte Wolbert for the Bella Salmonella set. She has incorporated beautiful-looking bacteria into her designs, first a kitchen towel set and now also this table runner and napkins. A design with a wink.
The tablecloth for two and the napkins are produced by the Weaving Museum in Geldrop. The finish is special: Mariëtte wants a frayed edge with loose threads because that fits in nicely with the theme. A special weave was developed so the threads come loose easily. Then all edges are finished by stitching with a sewing machine.
Material: 50% linen 50% cotton, produced in the Netherlands
Tablecloth for two, can also be used as a runner: 47 cm wide x 1.50 cm
Napkin: 39 cm x 39 cm
Washing instructions: Wash at max. 60°C. Linen is prone to wrinkles, so the best treatment is: after washing, hang it to dry on a clothesline and iron it while it is still damp. Do not tumble dry.
