In the "Bark" and "Water" series, Mariëtte Wolbert presents three-dimensional jacquard-woven acoustic wall panels. A striking feature of this series is how the visual appearance changes as one walks past the objects or approaches them from different angles. Furthermore, the texture of the woven material absorbs ambient sound, bringing a certain serenity to the space.
In consultation with the designer, the dimensions, proportions and finish of the panels can be adapted to the individual wishes of (private) clients, but also to the application in large buildings.
